Im in love with this plant but have no idea what it is! I dont think its doing well. I bought it potted in only sand with no dirt. I believe it to be a succulent, because it has fleshy leaves. Please Help!

It is difficult to identify the plant in the photo, in part because of the poor lighting, but also because it is too far away to get a good view of the foliage. It looks like it may be a type of aloe, but you are correct in that it appears to be struggling to live.

It looks like a Mesemb of some sort, maybe a Glottiphyllum. Mesembs need plenty of light to grow well. It may also be a winter grower and looks bad because it is currently in its resting season.
