what kind of tree or shrub is this?

    I am not sure if this is a tree or a shrub, I spotted it in the woods near where I work.
    It looks like a small tree about 5 ft. tall.Can anyone identify it??

    Possibly a hawthorn, but not definitely so.

    no It's not a hawthorn ,I have looked at several pictures and the leaves are nothing like a hawthorn

    yes that's it parsley hawthorn , has a lot of leaf variations. Thanks a lot
