That link you sent me to has a pic of the exact tree, so I will assume that is it, although every other image of a plant with that name looks different. at any rate, I am glad to have a name, even though its not as pretty as I hoped.. lol.. thank you!
It looks different to other pics 'cos it is normally grown as a shrub. The one I showed you has been grafted on top of a straight trunk. It has possibly been well pruned to keep the compact shape. oh no, its ok. I was just expecting another name for some reason. And I like it as a tree better, my tree was so pretty and mauve, rather than red.Its just feminine It really does remind me of me. Thanks for your help!
