I seen this tree in South Texas on a trip. It is beautiful. I have been looking for the name and can not find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Norfolk Island Pine, Araucaria heterophylla. If your climate at home is similar to the part of Texas where you saw that tree, you'll be able to grow it outdoors. Any colder in the wintertime, and it will have to be an indoor tree for you.

They're sometimes on sale at Wal-Mart, if I remember correctly.

    A. columnaris is similar as a young tree and usually has a curve in the stem - as specimen shown does. Don't know about Texas but in Hawaiian plantings A. columnaris appears to greatly outnumber A. heterophylla.
