What kind of tree is this ?

    I wrote to this board 2 years ago asking what kind of tree I have growing but it was hard to tell because it was so small. Can someone please tell me the kind of tree this is ?

    Looks like Picea glauca. If you are asking about it because it's bluer than the others around it that's just natural variation. It is likely to be the same species as the others.

    Pinus Pinea (Italian Stone Pine) is also very glaucous, with short needles when young. Don't know about this one specifically, but just in general...

    Picea!....probably glauca

    Definitely Picea. Could well be Picea glauca, but could equally be Picea engelmannii. Are the weaker lower shoots glabrous (hairless) or pubescent (downy)?
