what kind of tree is this?

    does anyone know what kind of tree this is? I tried to ID it and thought it might be a Southern Magnolia or Persimmon, but I'm not sure.

    Agree; spellcheck: Photinia × fraseri (s, not z!, and it is a hybrid).
