What kind of plants are these?

    1st plant:

    It is fall right now, in Michigan. These are some pictures of when this plants leaves have changed color during
    the fall.

    This might be the same kind of plant, however the leaves haven't changed to their fall color yet.

    I originally mistaked this as barberry. I tasted it and spitted it out, and it didn't taste like barberry. It was bitter.

    First two are European Privet Ligustrum vulgare.

    Last is a spindle Euonymus. Good thing you spat it out, spindle berries are poisonous.
