Well, I have to take care of this plant and I was wondering what the name was. Also, it's kind of brownish on the ends, I'm wondering if that's okay? It has little thin sprouts coming out from the sides of it. (It scares me since I'm new at this.) Please let me know what it is, I've been very worried out this plant. Also, if there is something wrong with it is there anything I can do? I really don't want this plant to die.

Looks like Kalanchoe blossfeldiana. These plants are very common in commerce. They are generally given optimum blooming conditions in green houses and sold in full bloom. It may be a bit challenging for the home grower to achieve this full bloom again. Normal care of the plant is not too difficult however. Keep on the dry side.
