Identification: What kind of plant is this and what is wrong with it?

    Hello,
    This plant was living in my house when I moved in. It is progressively getting more brown spots but I don't know what is wrong, or even what kind of plant it is. Please help

    Looks like Dracaena fragrans 'Janet Craig'.
