So I rescued this plant from work. They were going to throw it away. I am a novice at plant care and have only been successful with spider plants. If anyone can tell me what it is, I can find out how to take care of it properly. I'm not sure it's looking all that great right now.

Doesn't look in too bad shape to me - you've got at least three separate plants by the look of it! Some of the leaves look a bit floppy so it might be worth looking at the roots and seeing what shape they are in. Nice looking plant otherwise good luck with it.

I've been doing research, and checked the roots out and I think it has mealy bugs :( I broke off a small part of the one plant that they had messed up the roots entirely on and it's in water to grow new roots. Any ideas what else I can do to help it, other than sacrificing the eaten part of the plant and starting anew?
