What kind of Oak is this?

    Quercus garryana or Oregon White Oak? They don't grow here so it's a guess. Harry

    Going by the auricles (small lobes pointing back toward the stem) at the leaf base, I'd say Quercus robur (English Oak) or possibly a hybrid derived from it. Q. garryana doesn't have this feature.
