We have a fruit tree growing in our back yard. I have pictures of the fruit and the tree. Is there someone or a way I can send the pictures to find out what it is?

Well, sure. Look under "Forum Announcements, Feedback, and How-Tos". First post, on how to attach images.
Looking forward to your photo, and welcome!

Looks like an Apricot, but could also be a Peach. I'd wait until the fruit is ripe, pick it, and smell it - that will be the dead giveaway.

Maybe a flowering quince Chaenomeles? The pic is too blurred to tell for certain.
