What kind of desert tree is this?

Location of these pictures is North Eastern Somalia, the Horn tip of Africa.

The area was very arid, but I was surprised to see these very large and old trees growing in the desert without any irrigation and sparse rainfall.




I'd really like to know.

Is it a Neem tree? (Azadirachta indica)

 

Any close-up photos of foliage, flowers or fruit?

No indication of specie or group etc ??
