Identification: what kind of blackberry or boysenberry is this?

    I've never seen a stem this purple on anything but a Himalayan blackberry. But Himalayans are notoriously thorny, and this is thornless. This might be a boysenberry (I inherited this garden only 3 months ago), but again, never seen one with a stem this purple. Any ideas what cultivar this is?
