We have two small children and recently discovered this little gem growing in a Rose of Sharon. Any ideas? We're obviously concerned about the poisonous berries or plant.

We live near St Louis, MO.

    Thanks for any help.

Honeysuckle ... interesting. Never knew it to have red berries. The plant was not visible this past Spring, but has almost overtaken the Rose of Sharon by this Fall

    Thanks!

honeysuckle varieties that aren't native to north america are extremely invasive and grow like the dickens and come out of no where in no time! the berries are poisonous, if i remember correctly.
