What is this?

Hello, I found this forum because I don't know what is growing alongside my ficus plant and I hope someone could help me figure it out.

We keep our ficus outside and my mom puts all sorts of fruit pits and seeds in the soil. I don't know why she does it but finally something came up. I think its some sort of weed but my mom won't let me get rid of it unless I know what it is for sure.

I would appreciate any information.
