    Hi,
I just got this tree/bush at a local plant sale. It had only two branches and looked a bit abused. But those leaves talked to me! If this helps in identifying, the stem had white sap.[

ps, I hope I attached the photos correctly.

Not really sure but my first thought was Fagus sylvatica var. heterophylla ‘Asplenifolia’, Fern-leaved Beech. But I am nowhere nearly sure.

Possibly cut-leaf Stag's-horn Sumac Rhus typhina 'Dissecta'?

Photos of the whole plant would help a lot!

Harry & Michael! Thank you, for the suggestions. I do agree that it is probably a cut-leaf Stag's-horn Sumac Rhus typhina 'Dissecta'. It took me a bit to find a good close up of the leaves, but it looks right.

I'm attaching a photo of the whole plant. As you can see, it's a small, deformed plant. Knowing it's requirements, I have just the spot for it. We live next to a creek with a bank that's about 25'. This would be nice along that bank.
