Can somebody help me ID this plant please? It looks great, but I have no idea... :(((
(It's a garden plant in Austria and somebody asked me, what could it be...)

It is a rare garden plant as yet, not a weed... but it could be a weed, like every not native garden plant... :(
The name is not sure, some Liatris, but I don't know the species... I think, it could be L. ligulistylis...

I'm sorry, I've only seen this in flower. The leaves and number of flowers look a bit off to me re: Liatris ligulistylis, but then again, sometimes plants perform a bit differently in cultivation (particularly re: flower numbers).
