What is this???

    Of the three of us who have this plant, none of us knows what it is. Any help would be appreciated!!

    Impatiens glandulifera or similar, a wetland pest out here.

    Hmmm. Wetland, huh. Not in our backyards, in the middle of the city, in the middle of the prairies, so maybe we don't have to worry about it becoming a "pest"! Mine didn't come back this year so one of the others sent me the pictures, 'cuz it's been driving me nuts trying to id it. This time when I looked at her pictures, my first thought was impatiens. Wonder why I didn't see that before. Anyway, I'm going to try it again next year - it was a showpiece in my garden!!

    It's an annual, overwintering as a seed.
