Hi people, new to the board. I was wondering if anyone knew what this plant could be? I took pictures of it in my Mom's backyard back in October, and she's never seen anything like it before. It had weird berries in clusters that were a deep purple. The berries actually started off as I believe small white flowers. The leaves were quite large, and the plant itself was over 6 feet. There were actually a bunch of them, and I'm sure they multiplied due to the falling berries. My parents live in the western Chicagoland burbs, and I myself have never seen anything like this. Can anyone help me out here? I've attached some pics...
