A friend in Singapore was stopped in his tracks by the fragrance coming from the tiny flowers of this vine. The fragrance was like that of the tonkin vine or ylang ylang, but extraordinarily strong. The flowers were about the size of a Singaporean $0.20 coin, pin-wheeled like a gardenia, and were a light yellow colour with a reddish brown outer base. The vine itself was as thin as wire, winding around a stick-like tree. Anyone know its scientific name?
