What is this tree?

    These photographs were taken southwest of Olympia, WA on DNR state forestland (elev ~ 1400 ft).

    Unfortunately I could not see the crown from where I was. However, I strongly suspect this is Pacific Silver Fir, which has a rather distinctive bark.
