what is this tree here

hey there, been trying to figure out what this tree is, another tree that i'd like to add to my garden. i live in brisbane and see this everywhere?

 

Magnolia, perhaps x wieseneri. First impression, could be completely wrong. Especially from Austrailia.

 

Ficus Lyrata , the fiddleleaf Fig methinks .
