What is this Thorny Shrub?

    This unknown plant was found in a Tree Survey we are doing for Druid Hill Park in Baltimore, MD.
    Please help with any ideas of it's identification.

    Nice fruit set. There is some confusion of the naming of these in western cultivation (or at least commerce), be sure to check multiple references before deciding on a particular species.
