We received this plant a few years ago which was started from a leaf. It has rooted and spread and generated new growth. Last year it produced about 8 very unusual flowers. The plant itself is very unusual looking. We call it the prehistoric plant for lack of anything better. It thrives outside all summer in mostly shade. We have several days in the high 90's and low 100's. During the dormant period indoors it has continued to spread and has produced a new stalk with no folliage. One of the stalks is over 10 feet tall.
