    Not Hebe.
    Never heard of Boswood???

It is a Daphne...but not Daphne odora
Looks like Daphne x transatlantica Eternal Fragrance.
Or Daphne x transatlantica Pink Fragrance.
    Or similar.

    Ditto to a Daphne

I'm guessing 'boswood' is a typo for Box[wood] (Buxus) - it isn't that though, as Box doesn't have showy flowers, just inconspicuous greenish-yellow ones.

OK, so a Daphne. But the translatlantica Eternal and Pink Fragrance both seem to have longer leaves...
Why does the odora not fit? or the Burkwoodii?

I am delighted that I was able to assist with your query.
    Your thanks was much appreciated.

I grow many different Daphne...I love them.
But to id accurately from pics is hard.
Nor do I know them all.

Surely it is sufficient that you now know for sure it is a Daphne not a Hebe or Boxwood.?

Daphne odora is a larger shrub, leaves larger/ flowers are larger /it flowers in spring.
    See pics below..

    also for D.x Trans

DAPHNE ODORA WALBERTON 06-03-2012 14-41-27.JPG DAPHNE ODORA WALBERTON 22-03-2008 16-12-32.JPG

    DAPHNE ODORA 02-09-2015 13-28-45.JPG

Whilst these pics show Daphne x trans Pink Fragrance..much smaller shrub, smaller leaves and flowers.

These are Daphne x trans Eternal fragrance. Flowers are paler

Settled: a daphne, specific variety to be determined.
    I appreciate everyone's contribution.
