I believe you'll find the rules of this forum don't encourage giving students "free" answers to school assignments. Chances are your teacher wanted you to find this one on your own.
No, it's not against the rules. In fact, we even have a prefix for threads that are school work (and it's used here: School Assignment). The consensus of the discussions of the past was that it's up to you to decide if you want to help with school assignments.
