I just moved in to a new home and there is a beautiful, big plant overgrowing the front walk. It had beautiful little blue flowers on it in the spring. THe leaves are oval, and multiple leaves on a stalk. The plant grows like a peony - no branches, just multiple stalks coming from the center root. Maybe it is a bulb like a peony? Right now the plant is about 5 feet in diameter and about 4 feet tall. It has begun to form seed pods. I am attaching a close up of one of the branches, and a close up of the seed pod. Hope someone can help identify the plant, and how to prune it and care for it.
