My husband and I bought our house last year and this plant was in the front garden...It's just recently "bloomed" again and now there's 7 instead of the original 1. We have no clue what it is and would really like to know. Please Help!

Wow. Same odd color scheme as Arum palaestinum.

Spectacular but malodorous, quite like a dead rat - effectively making the part of the garden they occupy unuseable at flowering time. Christopher Lloyd wrote that the smell passed quickly and then the still-open flowers could even be cut and taken to events. That's fine as long as all the flowers in a patch open on the same day!
