The previous tenant left this on the balcony. Can someone help me identify it?

    Thank you.

It could be Lonicera xylosteum. Although I doubt my identification because it is potted up as an "ornamental". I do not feel that Lonicera xylosteum has to many ornamental characteristics. Have you seen flowers? Fruit?

    Thank you so much, Raakel.

I haven't seen any flowers or fruits only knew that it was on the balcony all the time even in winter. I'm living in Montreal Quebec.

I googled Lonicera xylosteum, and its friuts are poisonous to human. If it's really this one, I'll have to get rid of it because of my young children.

I believe it is a wisteria.....they grow like crazy here in florida in the heat, blooming in the spring and the vine spreads as tall as a house!! I have two. It is the closest plant to a lilac, (can't grow them here, too hot) and the flowers look like bunches of grapes, in light lavender or white. Don't know if they are poinsonous, though.

Wisteria have compound leaves, are vining in habit. This shrub does not show either characteristic in these pictures.
