Wildflowers: What is this pink flower

    I thought this was a wild Germanium but could find no images with this kind of petal or deep pink color. It was growing along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia in early May. What is it?

    Looks like a Geranium, there are a lot of them--I don't really know them--maybe Geranium molle? (naturalized in N.America)
