What is this mystery plant?

    This plant/sapling is growing in my Mom's front yard. Just wanted to know what it is. I am no plant expert. Mystery Plant.jpg Thank you!

    Parthenocissus inserta (Thicket Creeper; most likely) or P. quinquefolia (Virginia Creeper; not sure if this occurs as far north as Ontario, though).

    Yes. Looks like Virginia creeper.

    Parthenocissus quinquefolia is native to Ontario (and can even be found in Manitoba!)

    Word of caution: it does not creep, it sprints, so protect areas you don't want it to take over.
