What is this? Is it edible?

    This plant popped up in a field we planted, it's not one we intentionally planted, however excess stock food is often scattered here, so it could be a "volunteer" from that. The sap is clear and it smells somewhat like young broccoli. I'm pretty certain it's edible but I want to make sure.
