Possibly a species of button fern.

A Pellaea species. Pellaea rotundifolia is a popular species in cultivation and fits well.

Yup, P. Rotundifolia. Keep in mind that this is an extremely wiry fern, prone to unimaginable tangling, and will get pot bound PDQ... Very fun, though! I've had one for about two years now. Started off in a 4" pot, and is going into a 3 gallon this weekend.

It should do fine in a hanging basket, not to worry. They don't get particularly 'massive,' just quite thick and tangled.
