Hello, I live in South East Florida, and see a lot of those. What is the name of these palms? I would like to use clustering palms as an hedge type, but do not really need them to be to high. One-story house high tall is more than enough, just looking at "blocking" the direct views on the windows of neighbors house. Would this type be good to use, won't those grow too high? Thank you for your help and suggestions.
I don't know quite what they are, but they do grow here in Ecuador, to the height of about 2 storeys.
I kept on searching info, and they seem to be "areca" palms... there are probably a lot of variation of "areca", not sure which specific areca this one is.
