I have this bush in my yard and my dogs love to eat the bark from it. I have looked through books but haven't found what it is. I would like to find out what it is and if it is safe for my dogs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Buckthorn - poisonous, but also consumed as an emetic, maybe your dog is self-medicating on it like they sometimes eat grass to get rid of nasty stuff in their stomachs.
