This is a bulb growing in my daughter and son-in-law's garden. It looks like chives, but the tops of most stems are curling. My son-in-law says it is an unusual bulb that he ordered but he cannot remember the name. There is no flower yet. The leaves are hollow and about 6 to 10 inches high, and about 1/8 inch in diameter at the ground, getting smaller up to the end.

Armeria look a lot like chives, but I don't recall noticing that the tops curl. Any chance we could see a picture?

Probably just another Allium. There are many species.
