What is the name of this tree?

    I live in Phoenix, AZ. Looks like some kind of palm tree maybe?

    Probably a Nolina or a Dasylirion. The surface of the trunks may point to one or the other. Otherwise you could tell by the flowers. If you see one in bloom get a close-up of those. Fruits of the two genera may also be visibly distinct, I suppose.
