This Christmas Cactus bloomed a little while ago, but after the flowers died, these pink pods were left over. What are they? Are they seeds? Are they fruit? Please help. Thanks!

Yes, edible, though I've never had the opportinity to try one myself so don't know what the flavour is like.
I've tried one. Kinda watery-sweet. If you're interested, it's not that difficult to start new plants from the seeds.
