What is it?

    We have many succulents on our brick wall flower box. It surrounds 3/4 or the house.
    This plant really surprised us one day while starting to had water the plants.

    That central structure makes me think Hoya.

    Thank you Ron for the name: Stapelia variegata. I was able to Google many
    wed sites with photos of this plant. Apparently I also have another one in the same
    pot but with a podlike shape. It isn't in the photo I uploaded though.
