    Hi, all,

I too was shocked at not being able to use No-damp or find it anywhere. This item was absolutely crucial to keeping damping off away from my transplants in the yard and garden. Because of the lack of it, damping off hit some of my English peas and beets. I called a local seed company--Halifax Seed--and they said the alternative was to put sphagnum moss around your transplants or seeds, and I just laughed at that because sphagnum moss is not going to keep soil (and therefore damping off) from seeping into the sphagnum moss and getting next to your transplants and, two, because of the sheer cost of sphagnum moss. In addition, can you imagine trying to put a wad of sphagnum around each transplant?

I would like to know why no-damp was taken off of the market. Does anyone know?
