Hi. Last year someone gave me a bunch of these flowers with the roots They grow in pink and white with lovely yellow center. Bees seem to like them a lot. As per photo I collected stems and let them dry all winter long indoors. So I collected +- 100 of these tiny balls. They are filled with a feathery white plume nearly like Dandelions but very small. It's April now I want to know how to make as many plants as possible to grow them along a rocky wall with the neighbors lawn that 1 to 2m lowers that ours -What the name of these flowers? -Do I put the ball directly into the soil -If so should I crack the balls open before planting them? -Can I divide the balls to have a better chance to get more plants? -Shall I grow them in mini green house with circular pods from shop first? -Is each small dot on the outside of the feathery end a seed potentially for a plant start? Sun exposure full south +-10am-2-3pm in daytime it's between two homes Due to the level drop, water does not linger there so I could sink some open cracked bottom pots also to keep the moisture longer for the plants. If anyone has some other suggestion that doesn't brake the bank at 12$ a pot for some perennials or evergreens I'd appreciate your suggestions My landlord is not willing to spend money on a fence and the post man keeps on jumping down to save 30steps up and down between the two homes. I need a good reason for him to stop and add some small roots there to keep the soil together I planted Cosmos seeded lines from the shop MANY rolls for over 40$. Only a few bloomed and all rotted they never came back Thank's for your help
