Have numerous bushes in my yard(multiplied over the last 40 years). Planted by my Mom and I don't know the name.
Woody base branches; 1 inch white, 4 petal flower(1 at the end of each new growth stem); flowers look just like strawberry flowers; no fragrance. Flowers turn to 3 or 4 little egg-shaped green seeds which turn blackish brown in fall. In the spring there are hundreds of these babies coming up.
Leaves are soft, oval shape with soft sawtooth-like edge; leaf body is kind of rippled.
    Leaves are opposite.
Some of the bushes can be wide spread 6-8 feet; while all are approx. 4-5 feet tall.
    Thank you.

Thank you both, soooo much! This has driven me crazy for 3 weeks on the internet, until I found this site.
I'm new here and just love it!
