You can probably find them in plant books (check your library), or go to a store that sells plants and read the tags if you see those ones for sale.

I believe this forum has a tradition of not identifying plants when the answers are required for graded educational projects?

I thought that was true, but the last time it happened answers
were given and Daniel remained mute on the subject. I hope he
    will chime in this time?

    Regards

Yes, that is true. I'm not sure about the last time it happened, though, since I've yet to catch up on all of the forum notification emails from when I was on vacation for 2 weeks. Still have 1500+ emails to go, one week later...

I had the impression he wasn't being graded on correctly identifying the plants.

    From the Flickr set:

I just don't see an artist being graded on correct plant names...

Ok I was thinking it was more along the lines of Botanical Illustrator.
    My bad,

i'm a third year high school student and i'm supposed to make a herbarium and by all means I need to know the names of the plants. i believe that any source would be applicable because our teacher told us that we can ask our neighbors for the name of their plants (obviously they won't know the scientific name). so asking in this forum is the same as asking my neighbors

    thanks ;]

Try checking Toona sinensis (or relatives of it native to the Philippines) for one possibility.
