We've got an abundance of these -- what are they?

    The long days has lots of plants popping here in southeast New Brunswick! In the same woodsy area as plants I believe to be Lady Slippers (see first image) is an abundance of these simple yellow flowers (see second image). What are these plants with yellow flowers?
