I am planning to plant a weeping pussy willow. Will it invade my septic? The plant only gets 8 feet tall and I am planning on putting it 8-9 feet away from the septic. There is also a creek 18 feet away in the woods. Is it safe to plant Salix Caprea ‘Kilmarnock’ near a septic? There are lots of trees nearby that are known to invade septics(maples) and nothing has happened yet.

When grafted on a trunk to provide some height for the branches to droop from the understock used will be the determinant rather than the 'Kilmarnock'. With when I have seen sprouts it appearing French pink pussy willow was used. A kind I have seen get much larger than 'Kilmarnock'.
