I had a plant sprout up in my garden in the last 3 weeks. It was over 3 1/2 feet tall. The stalk was approx 1" thick. THe plant is very sticky to the touch, stalk if furry and when cut emits a strong citronella type odor. Can someone help me identify?
My camera is unfortunatley broken at the present time. From the stalk there are stems which branch out like a tree would, The leaves are spear shaped and approx 2-3 " at the widest point. The color is bright greens with no other color variations. Not sure if that helps. I will try to get a photo of it today.
