Weed or Cool looking Wild Flower?

    Theres a few of these cool little ground swirls in the wetlands behind my house. Anyone have a clue? Im in Michigan if that helps.

    Possibly a Filipendula of some sort. Not much to go on. Maybe if you go back later you will seen fully developed specimens in flower, or you will see the same species later on another walk.

    Haven't seen geum with pointed leaves, otherwise might have suggested it. But one at link while different from yours also has enough similarities that it could be a related species, perhaps even the same one.
