Having just moved to Victoria from the Prairies, I would love to find a book with good pictures of the various weeds I am safe to pull from my garden. Any suggestions?
Hello demisemiquaver here is a good web resource for BC http://www.weedsbc.ca/ you can also download descriptive text as a pdf from this part of the page http://www.weedsbc.ca/resources.html I know the next link is from Washington state but I don't think weeds need a passport yet to cross into Canada http://www.nwcb.wa.gov/index.htm there is a good booklet to download that has weedy species and alternates to plant. all are in PDF format and so you can download these and read at your leisure or print off what is relevant I hope this is a start for you
