Water plant Id

    The flowers were white with a bit of pink. Fairly insignificant really, and after the flowers dropped off the stalk that was left was in a zig zag shape if that helps...

    Tipularia...it looks a bit like Alisma plantego-aquatica, but I need to seee the flowers to confirm
